A Project in Kiliba - why?

Mutono comes from Kiliba, he was born there. He fled at the outbreak of the Congo War and eventually landed in Austria. Since 2011 , Mutono has Austrian citizenship. In 2013 our family visited Kiliba for the first time since fleeing. Mutono was horrified to see how living standards had dramatically declined, especially the infrastructur and perpectives for youth.
So we not only know the area but also the people, their strength and weaknesses.

Increasingly, we are receiving "emergency calls" from pastors and other local people.

The Empowerment of local people is of prime importance to us. The project should not collapse after the initial phases but be continued by the local populations
